I do quick jobs until i´can get my first loan and maybe a bit longer, so by that time i have a nice buffer of money (of course only if i´m driving safely and dont crash too much or get speed-ticketed. Mercedes are an often overlooked brand too. Scania are also very popular but you can't get those tasty V8 engines till you've levelled up quite a bit. But Volvo give you probably the best "early" truck. Truck choice is not so simple when you start out, cos you have to be X level for most of the good engines etc. Do the same tactics on your staff skills to minimise the time they spend "unable to find a job" This will open up all job types to you both as quick jobs and as owner driver jobs. Grow your skills - you want the first 3 ADR, one each in high value and fragile and as many long distance as you can. Take the loan and get trucks and staff asap. There are plenty of beginner guides in the guides section. Just yesterday, I got to the point where my drivers were earning me more than 450,000 euros a day I've currently got 10 million in the bank, am level 56, own 56 garages and 63 trucks. I just plugged away at quick jobs till I had enough for a truck, then earned enough to expand the garage and add another truck and from there it snowballs. If you want to go somewhere, find a job that goes there (or at least 'near' there) and get paid to travel :) I go along with the "do not fast travel".
